We need some space! Do you need a new, available machine?
Summer has - more or less - reached Europe and KUHNE Group needs to air thoroughly its inhouse lab. At the moment, two brand new extrusion lines occupy that space; waiting for a new owner to have him/her producing top quality films for thermoforming purposes. Both machines are turnkey extrusion solutions, equipped with every technical feature needed to start production right away.
KUHNE PET Coextrusion Line - ULTIMATE
Line no.1 is a coextrusion PET line with integrated IRD system - type ULTIMATE. This sophisticated machine is designed for the processing of PET virgin and PCR blends. The line is equipped with two single screw extruders achieving a total capacity of close to 1.200 kg/h. The possible sheet widths are quite flexible due to a two-web friction frame winding unit, with a maximum net width of 1.200 mm. The thickness range is also huge, starting from 150 my and going up to 2 mm. This is possible because of a set of 4 deckle blades available with the die. This KUHNE die is automatically adjusted with thermos-bolts and a thickness measurement with auto gap control loop.
As the extruders and the bolt feed block, the horizontal and hydraulic roll stack are also KUHNE in-house-made. A silicone unit for one or even both sides of the sheet is integrated as well as the related drying system, which guarantees a line speed of up to 90m/min even with silicone application. A complete feeding and gravimetric system is included, the material is treated beforehand with the newest IRD system that ensures FDA & EFSA approval of the process for you. A cutting mill with cyclone and a KEC
(KUHNE Extrusion Control) system for timer, recipes and trends complete the line.
The machine has all important features for the production of high end PET sheet, but can also easily produce PP and/or PS. KUHNE is offering this line for the very competitive price of only € 2.500.000 EXW. Any other, fresh built European machine with this high-end specification will have a sales price of around one million euros more. The line is just waiting for you and can be anywhere in the world within 4 weeks.
KUHNE PP/PS Co-Extrusion Line - NEO
The same applies for our second, directly available new extrusion line. A basic, standard coextrusion line - type NEO - for the processing of PS and PP thermoforming films. The line is equipped with two single screw extruders achieving a total capacity of 700 kg/h in PP and even more in PS. The possible, net sheet width is between 800 and 900mm. The thickness range for PP starts at 0,35 mm and going up to 2 mm, in PS even thinner films are possible to produce.
As the first line, we are offering a turnkey system - starting with a feeding and dosing system and finishing with a double station winding unit with accumulator.
The high speed main extruder, the coextruder, the die and the feedblock are all KUHNE in-house made. For other parts such as screen changer, melt pump or roll stack, we have chosen international sub-suppliers - still maintaining the high-class technology that KUHNE is known for. But by doing so, we can offer the complete extrusion for a very favourable price of only € 899.000 EXW.
